“Matt Bunn and the crew and subs from Wheelhouse Construction transformed an unfinished store room on the second floor of my 1937 home into a beautiful, modern bathroom and walk in closet. I told Matt what I was looking for and he designed the project in a computer program that showed plan and 3D elevations that enabled me to envision the finished project. This was a very complex undertaking and Wheelhouse handled it flawlessly. There was no plumbing in the end of the house where the new bath was to go. So Matt’s crew had to figure out how to get supply and drain lines into the area. It required breaking into walls on the first floor and in the basement—but the crew was careful place temporary barriers to contain dust and debris while the work progressed. Budget allowances were provided for flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc. The allowances were, for the most part, realistic. So they were able to bring the job to completion very close to the original estimate. I am very pleased with the results and can wholeheartedly recommend Wheelhouse for any renovation or new construction project that you may want to undertake.”

“Wheelhouse Construction remodeled our dining room to be a mud room with a powder room. The powder room was a complete new bathroom added to the space and we had new laminate flooring put down. Wheelhouse also took out an old inefficient door frame and built in a new one and installed a new patio door (as our old one - original to our 1940’s home - did not seal the doorway properly). We had them add 2 spigots to the outside walls of our home where there was no water access, paint the entire mudroom and new powder room. We also wanted to have rolling barn doors to separate the mudroom from our dining/sitting room - as an added bonus, not only did Wheelhouse install these for us, they custom built them for our space. All of the guys who worked on our home were considerate and respectful, Cleaned up after themselves, worked quickly and efficiently and always kept us informed of their progress. They were there when they said they would be and finished our project well within our timeframe. Matt and his team were a pleasure to work with.
